 Josephine Borg The rest of Australia reopened and is controlling the case numbers very well. Melbourne is just one city and there’s no reason why we won’t follow the rest of Australia. But people are pissed off. That's the issue. But lockdown works. If most people pull together to make it work. We are coming out of our second lockdown here in Auckland. Another 2 weeks and we should go back down to a level 1 if things carry on looking good. But you have to follow incubation cycles. Then make decisions. If we in the USA had a competent leader. He should /Clda, federally shut everything for like 3 weeks followed by 3 weeks of Mask mandates! (virus would have had nowhere to go! it would have died! The End), but that'd be too EZ. You live in an alternate universe? You don't have 200.000 people died from the virus there? Interesting Probably, but we won't do it because people are more focussed on THEIR freedom than anyone's right to safety.

Who's spouting out fake news now. He's in the wrong job, he should be a Doctor & a scientist if he thinks what he is taking is the right thing to do. Does he know something the rest of the world doesn't know? He should be a doctor AND a scientist. Well said! I take it, but for a reason. I've been on it for a long time before all this virus started, but I honestly don't believe it could help with the viruses one breath he says he is taking it, the next he would like to take it! You can’t believe a song word he says. I noticed that too. At the very least, if he is actually taking it, it certainly does not do anything to make his brain sharper! Just crossed my mind, and this is purely theoretical, but does anyone think he uses cocaine? I'm not stating this as a fact, I'm not suggesting he does, like I said, Just a theory.  They wear transparent face shields. There are few excuses for non-mask-wearing that will wash. I'm hard of hearing, ( sometimes ), I have a buildup of wax. That's a good idea I'm deaf, I don't know sign language. I take my daughter with me so that if I'm struggling, she can tell me what is being said. We BOTH wear masks, she removes hers to talk to me when I'm struggling then puts it straight back on. People use some ridiculous excuses to not wear a mask. but how can you tell if someone has a medical reason I myself is exempt but I will wear a mask in shops because you are a good person, that is why you do it he's always passing on the responsibility and the blame? It's never his duty, it's never his fault. you can still lip read while wearing a mask (unless you put it over your eyes) you should get a lanyard that is available now that says you’re exempt.    I'm not allowing this so you are allowing the virus to spread and people to die what a lovely person you are you would if it was a drunk driver who may or may not kill someone. What’s different about someone who doesn’t know they have COVID and goes on to kill someone? As I say thank God I live somewhere nice where people behave themselves. I hate the virus killing people and giving a lifetime of sickness to others. Just wish people would follow the rules and not be selfish. That’s how stupid I think the Prime Minister of my own country is becoming a national and international embarrassment.
